Dr Shaun Harris, a HCEC research officer, has become the Welsh Health Economist representative on the Health Economics Study Group (HESG) Early Career Researcher (ECR) Committee – set up to represent the interests of ECRs on this internationally recognised group.
Further details can be found at Early Career Researcher (ECR) subcommittee – Health Economists’ Study Group (hesg.org.uk).
Giving her warmest congratulations, Deb Fitzsimmons said: “This is a significant and much deserved reward for Shaun’s achievements to date. We are delighted that through HCEC support, Shaun is going from strength to strength in developing his career as a health economist. We are delighted he has been chosen to represent Wales on this prestigious study group.”
Shaun says: “I am excited to take on this role in the HESG ECR sub-committee and to collaborate with other health economists across the UK. As an ECR representative, I’m looking forward to engaging with the subcommittee in supporting those at the beginning of their journey in health economics and to building relationships with other researchers as my own career develops.”
